The brief for this project was to provide a large open plan kitchen / dining / family space to the rear of the property. This was achieved by means of a full width rear extension with large glazed opening doors to the rear garden, and removing internal walls to create the open plan layout. This entailed careful liaison with the structural engineer for the design of supporting steelwork.
